Forget-Me-Not Walk and Cream Tea
We invite our supporters to join us for a Forget Me Not Walk around the Lower Otter Valley to celebrate 40 years of community support for our charity. This is also a chance for reflection and remembering loved ones we have lost. Walkers have options for different activities throughout the day:
- 1.00pm – Guided Walk with Reserve Ranger – meet in the Cricket Club carpark. Free of charge, but booking necessary at this link.
- 1.00pm – 3.00pm – Self-guided Walk & Viewing Platform –Explore at your own pace and call in at the viewing platform for a chat with a Ranger about the reserve’s environment and wildlife.
- 3.00pm – Time for Reflection – Join us at the Forget-Me-Not bench to commemorate our bench and for time to remember loved ones.
- 2.00pm – 5.00pm – Enjoy a delicious Cream Tea at The Holt – Join us at The Holt Bar and Terrace at the Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club for a Cream Tea. £7pp, donation from every sale will go to BS&D Hospiscare.
Maps of the Reserve will be available on the day from our information stand situated in the Cricket Club carpark where free parking is available. You can also collect maps from the Pebblebed Heath Conservation Trust’s stand located hear the Estuary carpark on South Farm Road, EX9 7AZ.
